Classic DF – 10/19/02

October 19, 2002: [•] This morning was a very tea only morning. Damn you acid reflux! Last night over at V’s I watched part of Comedy Central‘s “first original” movie Porn N’ Chicken (which basically isn’t very original, but anyhow) and I thought there was one interesting thing. During the movie the main characters, whose names escape me (it was just that good of a movie), decide to make a porno film to buck the establishment (cause God knows that when the Bay of Pigs happened in Cuba the first thing they did was make a gang bang movie after overthrowing the government). They named the porno film The Staxxx and that is oddly close to Immy‘s Stack Ups!. I just found that very interesting; I don’t know why. Maybe it was ironic or maybe… naw, I was just up too late last night again LOL. 🙂 Other than that life has been good overall. I’m in a great mood once again. I might as well enjoy it while it lasts. My apartment needs to be cleaned, but that will wait until Tuesday when I get the day off. Tonight I get an oil change, so that’s cool. It’s the little things that are making the Focus run better. I can’t wait to do some REAL mods though. I’m itching here people! Turbo! Turbo! Chant with me: Turbo! Turbo! 🙂 I’m done now.

I had to compose a training transcript and work up a presentation. I completed a broadband presentation the other day. I keep getting stuck late at work solving implausible problems. I’ve had two meetings this week and next week I am going to an expo on local commerce. So faced with not enough time during prime time I got up a 5AM with Li’l Pooh this morning and had playtime. If one thing irks me about this world it’s that I don’t really see my daughter a lot during the week. I guess it’s time to wake up earlier to get some quality time– I hate getting up before the sun, but for her it’s worth it 🙂
