Chris specializes in web server deployment and information management. This includes CMS, CRM, and dynamic content deployment. Chris also manages a full service Video Head End with over 200 digital TV channels. Chris also has five years of project management, knowledge management, and engineering design experience. He specializes in both the Agile and Scrum project management methodology. He also has a background in computer forensics and information security including federal or state compliance audits (such as SOX).

RIP – Captain Lou Albano

Captain Lou AlbanoWWE Hall of Fame wrestler and manager Captain Lou Albano has passed away. He was 76 years old. Albano is best remembered as the loud mouth manager of fifteen different tag team championship teams during WWE’s hey day in the 1980s and the Dad in Cyndi Lauper’s “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun” video. Albano was also the voice of Super Mario on the “Mario Brothers Show” and had roles in TV’s “Miami Vice” among other appearances. He was a classically schooled wrestler whose career spanned back into the late 1960s. Albano will sorely be missed for his over the top bigger than life personality, which in classic Captain Lou style provided some of the best (if not the best) WWE interviews on TV ever.

Catching up on our earlier article about Drew Carey saying he’ll donate a $1 per Twitter follower to the LiveStrong Foundation, Carey’s profile is up to 95,332 followers at the time of this writing. If you have a Twitter account please be sure to add Carey. To recap, if Carey reaches 1 million followers befor 1/1/10 he will donate a million US dollars to LiveStrong. This is a big deal and every account counts. So be sure to add him and help the cause out (because after all it’s free which is win-win for everybody).

DF.com on YouTube

As promised, you will now find in our newly added Video section a group of videos that feeds from our “Favorites” list from YouTube.com (found on the site here). We’ll be adding more videos over time, but there are some of our top perennial favorites posted already to get things going. Of course, you’re always welcome to drop us a line via comments on this post to let us know what videos you’d like to see included. We just might dig what you’re cooking and post it. Who knows. We just might.

To make room on the main menu bar I changed the Visual Artwork section to the smaller length Artwork section. Content remains the same though I did delete some duplicate Graphic Art that I found.

You’ll also find in the right hand side menu some quick picks of the top external DF.com sites from around web the under “Beyond DF.com – Top Picks” heading. The complete list of external sites can be found in the Beyond DF.com section.

Our expansion around the web is complete at this point (at least for the time being). We’re far from done though… we’ve got a few more tricks up our sleeves that we’ll be showing off over the next few weeks. Stay tuned!

Mark used to play in one of my all time favorite bands Karma Blind with Mike Hickey and Wayne Charleston. They were incredible. He’s still playing gigs all over the place and he was on CNBC’s “The Big Idea: Donny Duetsch”. He’s also got a DVD out. Good stuff. Check it out.
