Back to the Future in The Past

Yesterday evening into early this morning MC Mary @ The Disco! and I recorded digitalflood Pirate Radio Volume 5 Episode 6 (The Christmas Episode). Production will start on Sunday night and I expect to have it out for this Monday (12/28) evening. The show is pretty much out of control and I think you’ll find it as amusing to listen to as we did while recording it. The music selection is top notch and in the vein of the Holiday Spirit. I think you’ll enjoy the final product. It looks like this show will be the last episode of the year.
I do have good news though– Volume 6 Episode 1 is already in the planning stages for a 1/4/10 release. This will be our annual Top Ten Worst Songs of the Year show. And if that wasn’t enough– Volume 6 Episode 2, which will come out on 1/12/10 and will feature none other than DJ A.D.D. who has promised to bring with him some of the rarest tunes he can dig up. So 2010 is shaping up to be another stellar year of Pirate Radio already.
I had a wonderful time with my family today. We did our annual Christmas Dinner. A good time was had by all.

As I’m going to busy with this thing we call Christmas tomorrow, I’d like to send you an early greeting this evening for the holiday season. I hope you have a wonderful holiday, a Happy Hanukkah, a Wonderful Kwanzaa, and a very Merry Christmas, as well as, a great New Year. As always, we appreciate your viewership, your continued patronage, and all of your support throughout the year.
It has been a stellar year for digitalflood.com. We launched a new site. We launched a new season of Pirate Radio. We turned out some top notch graphic art and even documented my recovery from shoulder surgery. All in all, it has been one of success and we owe it all you the viewer. Thank you for following us. We look forward to entertaining you throughout 2010.
May your holidays be filled with joy, friendship, family, and moments to remember. And with that– let’s break out the egg nog and celebrate!
DF Party 2009: Holiday Shenanigans
As the Canadians say, "Come on down, ay!"
Let the shenanigans begin! This Saturday December 26, 2009 at 9 pm EST we will be meeting at GW’s Bar & Grill in Chester, NY to celebrate two birthdays and one great holiday season. It is both Skinner @ The Bar and Shannon’s birthday. Shannon is turning twenty one years old. Skinner is a bit older than that… but we’ll leave his actual age up to your imagination. There will be live music at GW’s. We’ll then be ending up in Warwick, NY after GW’s to conclude things at Halligan’s Irish Pub sometime early morning on 12/27/09. Both bars are great locations to party. There will be a cash bar at both bars.
I would hope you’d be kind enough to buy the birthday boy and girl a nice frosty beverage in their honor– it’s the least you could do and all that I ask. If you need more information drop me a line.

Remember it’s 21 to both enter and drink at both bars. There may be a cover charge. And all party crasher jerks will be ejected by rather large men who don’t take kindly to good time wreckers. If you need a place to stay there’s a Holiday Inn Express across the street in Chester, NY and a whole bunch of bed and breakfast inns in Warwick, NY.
All my friends are of course invited to come so don’t say I didn’t ask you to go… cause I just did. 😀
