Unfortunately this bad boy is above my price range and beyond my casual DJ'ing needs so I'm going to stick with what I got for now. There's lots of complaints about "flakiness" around the Internet about ITCH and I can see why many DJs have an aversion to it. I personally prefer Traktor or Virtual DJ if I was going to to run the unit and of course the lack of HID MIDI would have to be a "deal with it" situation for me (that therein makes me start looking at possible alternate candidates). As far as competitors, yeah-- the Denon is awesome and the Traktor unit is also pretty amazing. Throw in the Pioneer and the Heath&Allen, the NS6 definitely starts getting lost in the mid-pack. You definitely have a thing for Numark stuff, eh? ;) I spin with Traktor and love it, but MC Space Catastrophe says ITCH works pretty good... except on windows where it gets flaky :( (he was actually running MacOS in the beginning, and switched to a windows-based laptop until the next MacBook Pro comes out). The question is... When are you picking up this bad boy??
