This And That
October 29, 2008 by Chris
Quick minor update, I posted the ads that were used as private invitations for my Bachelor Party (affectingly labeled "Digitalflood Party - The End") back in 2007 on the last page of Graphic Art section. This is the first time these pieces have been publicly displayed and I think at the very least you'll get a giggle out of them. Enjoy!
Idle Hands
October 29, 2008 by Chris
They say that idle hands are the Devil's plaything and if that is the case, there is not Satan to be found near my palms because I just released a slew updated content to the site. All the image related pages (Graphic Art, Photos, and even the Biography page) have been updated with a lightbox application that users of social networking sites (like Facebook or MySpace) will find very familiar. It cleans up the image enlargement pop ups and unifies the design elements, which is always nice. The final result is both cleanly executed and easy to use. This marks release v10.1 for the df.com code and is yet another milestone in development. Yay me!
Things That Go Crunk In The Night
October 28, 2008 by Chris
The moon is glistening. There is a distant howl in the dark black night. A slow mist crawls in. Then the break dancing vampires invade! If this week's episode was a musical that's about how it would open. When it came time to mix the annual digitalflood Pirate Radio I decided that this year I would use nothing, but bands who've had someone die or an artist who themselves died. This is a pretty open genre as anyone who follows the obituaries knows that every day people die. Of course, musicians tend to have a bad habit of dying more frequently than the rest of us. Things just get easier at that point-- Instant Pirate Radio Halloween show theme! M'Weezy isn't feeling very well due to a cold so this show is another mega mix with over 70 minutes of non-stop live mixing. Hop on over to the Pirate Radio section and download digitalflood Pirate Radio Volume 4 Episode 3. One way or another, it's sure to scare the daylights out of you.
Get Crunk In Dis Piece

DF Pirate Radio is 100% back in effect. This week, MC Mary @ The Disco! returns to the show and needless to say things get hilarious. My wife, Chrissy, guest stars this week as well and picked all the music. The "Scene Clip of The Week" even returns. All is good in the world again... or is it? Hop over to the Pirate Radio Webcasts section and download Volume 4 Episode 2 to find out about MC Mary's shocking life changing decision.
The Inevitable Return

After nearly one year on hiatus and without a consistent release schedule for over two years, Digitalflood Pirate Radio is back! Jump over to the Pirate Radio Webcasts section to download Volume 4 Episode 1. Over 60 solid minutes of my mixing. I get eclectic (and strange as usual) crafting an up and down ride Cut Like Crack Style. The result: Sonic chaos and soundtrack you're bound to dance to. Let's get into it!
